Associate Pastor of Operational Resources and/or his or her designee
Statement of Mission:
Assure that proper procedures and best practices are in place in the financial accountability and business management practices of the church; oversee the annual church audit.
Specific Duties Include:
- Work with the Staff Coordinator to engage an outside CPA firm to perform the annual church audit.
- Review the findings of the completed audit with the auditing firm and the Staff Coordinator.
- Present the findings of the audit to the Finance Committee after the final review is complete.
- Act as advisors to the church staff and committees in matters of business and accounting policy and systems.
This committee shall consist of at least five members serving three-year rotating terms.
This committee will be comprised of accounting professionals, preferably Certified Public Accountants.
