“Be Disciples Who Make Disciples.”
This is the one phrase that encapsulates the heart and soul of the global ministries department at First Baptist Church Arlington. God’s Calling and God’s Power lead us to Our Response.
The guiding statement for Cross-Cultural Ministries is to be disciples who make disciples, led by the Holy Spirit, to make Him known. This is the strategy that influences our approach to reach Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth. From our local community in Arlington, to our state, to our country and to countless of unreached people groups around the world, our core objective is to be disciples who make disciples.
We base this sentiment on God’s Scripture with an unwavering commitment to strengthen God’s Church that we might make Him known until all have heard (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 3:10-11; John 17:25-26; Revelation 7:9-10).
