Business Management and Oversight Committee

Staff Liaison:                                                                                                                             Associate Pastor of Administration

Principal Function:                                                                                                                               Oversee the annual church audit

Specific Duties Include:

  1. Work with the Associate Pastor of Administration to engage an outside CPA firm to perform the annual church audit.
  2. Review the findings of the completed audit with the auditing firm and the Associate Pastor of Administration.
  3. Present the findings of the audit to the Finance Committee after the final review is complete.
  4. Act as advisors to the church staff and committees in matters of business and accounting policy and systems.

Membership:                                                                                                                                     Comprised of accounting professionals, preferably Certified Public Accountants.

Additional Information:                                                                                                                         Meets twice a year following the church audit.
