Staff Liaison: Associate Pastor of Administration
Principal Function: Oversee the annual church audit
Specific Duties Include:
- Work with the Associate Pastor of Administration to engage an outside CPA firm to perform the annual church audit.
- Review the findings of the completed audit with the auditing firm and the Associate Pastor of Administration.
- Present the findings of the audit to the Finance Committee after the final review is complete.
- Act as advisors to the church staff and committees in matters of business and accounting policy and systems.
Membership: Comprised of accounting professionals, preferably Certified Public Accountants.
Additional Information: Meets twice a year following the church audit.
