What year did you start working at First Baptist?
1993  

Tell us how you came to know Christ:
I came to know of GOD’s love for me and Jesus’ sacrifice for me growing up in a minister’s home. In Miami, Florida at the age of 9 I committed my life to Christ.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I love the variety of opportunities I have to work with really good people to make a positive (eternal) difference in the world.  

What’s your favorite Bible verse currently?
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and don’t depend on your own understanding. In all you do seek to honor GOD and he will guide and direct you.” Proverbs 3:5-6  

What do you feel like God is teaching you lately?
A long obedience in the same direction…

What are your hobbies?
PS3 video games

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
Oceanographer… because I grew up in Florida and I love everything about the sea.  

Tell us a bit about your family?
My wife, Kim, and I have been married 30 years. We have 3 grown daughters… Ashley (married to Aaron), Emily (married to Logan), and Corey (married to Michael).

What’s your favorite meal and who would be attending?
Thanksgiving dinner with all the family is really hard to beat! Then again, there’s a lot to be said for a long dinner in Florence, Italy with Kim.  

Tell us a little known fact about yourself:
I was bitten by a German Shepherd when I was a boy and had to get stitches “on my backside.” I got lost with a friend on a canoe trip in high school and had to spend a long night buried in the sand on the river bank freezing to death.
