Deana Adams has over fifteen years of experience counseling teenagers and adults in individual, group, and family therapy addressing such issues as depression, trauma, and anxiety. Serving as a volunteer police chaplain, Deana specializes in critical incident stress debriefing with emergency services personnel. Professional memberships include American Association of Christian Counselors and International Conference of Police Chaplains.

Dr. Ewing Cooley

EdD, Psychologist

Since moving to Arlington in 1956, Dr. Cooley has gained experience working in the church, the juvenile justice system, higher education, and private practice as a psychologist for the past 29 years. Since 1985, he has specialized in diagnosing individuals to distinguish between the effects of learning, attention, and temperament differences on emotions and behavior. Graduate education in psychology, education, social work, and religious education has given him a broad perspective on individual differences. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and active in the Dallas Fort Worth Regional Association of School Psychologists.

Dr. Donna Kelly-Powell

LMSW-ACP, CCBT, CFC
Child, Family and Adult Therapy

Dr. Kelly-Powell has thirty-one years of experience working with children and adults in individual, marital, and family therapy. She specializes in stress management, incorporating biofeedback and relaxation training. Dr. Powell also works with those coping with trauma, sexual abuse, mood disorders and ADD/ADHD. She is the creator and practitioner of a research-based impulse control program and an audiotape relaxation program for children. She is a member of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, the National Association of Play Therapists, and the National Association of Forensic Counselors. She strives to help her clients feel at ease when dealing with the difficult issues they are facing, as well as guiding them in making their own decisions leading to healing and health.

Marjorie H. Noble

Marjorie Noble has twenty-seven years experience working with children, families, and adults. She is a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, specializing in play therapy with children. Her expertise also includes helping parents, grandparents and caregivers gain the parenting skills needed to help them deal with their individual situations. Mrs. Noble works with issues facing children and their families including divorce, grief, behavioral management, self-esteem, abuse, mood disorders, ADD, social skills, and stress management. Professional memberships include The Association for Play Therapy and the American Association for Christian Counselors.

Beth Stearns

Beth Stearns is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with children and their families. She has worked over 12 years in a variety of settings including residential, developmental preschools and outpatient therapies. Beth specializes in Play Therapy and enjoys seeing families heal and children grow stronger. Working at the Center for Counseling and Enrichment has allowed Beth the advantage of helping families see their potential and source of strength through a spiritual perspective. Beth is a member of the Association for Play Therapy and a Registered Play Therapy-Supervisor.

Mary Stedham has worked as a counselor for twenty-five years with couples, individuals, families and students. A frequent leader of women's retreats, Mrs. Stedham is also a writer, seminar leader, and public speaker. She is a certified educator and has worked extensively with education professionals. Her expertise includes issues such as marriage, divorce, career, and ADD. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Texas Counseling Association.

Amy Myers McDurham

Amy McDurham works with both couples and individuals on a variety of issues including marriage and relationships, self-esteem, family interaction, and parenting skills.  A trained mediation facilitator, Amy is skilled at helping people reach mutually acceptable resolutions to conflict.  She has won an award in the field of mediation.  After working at Texas Christian University for over ten years, she has had extensive interaction with college students.  She is also trained in conducting alcohol and drug assessments.

 

Bill Nichols

 

Bill Nichols has been working with teens and families since 1972. He began providing counseling services in 1983. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  His practice is primarily focused on families with children and teens,  and single adults. As a result, he has worked with people with mood, anxiety, and attention-deficit disorders, on the autism spectrum, and those having a wide range of academic and behavior problems.
