What year did you start working at First Baptist?

June 2009

Tell us how you came to know Christ:

I grew up going to church every Sunday and Wednesday nights since I was a baby.  I never had a specific moment but there were many people in my life who contributed to me learning about Christ and eventually accepting him as my Savior.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

The fun people who work in the office and feeling like I’ve accomplished something that will help make our church successful.

What’s your favorite Bible verse currently?

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:13

What do you feel like God is teaching you lately?

Patience and to have an open mind.

What are your hobbies?

Singing and trying to be creative around the house.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?

A Radio City Rockette! I took dance from age 3 – 18 and I loved their outfits!

Tell us a bit about your family:

I married Ben Goodyear in June 2007 and have a son, Jack, born on May 22, 2010.  We love to go on walks as a family, watch sports and enjoy each others company.

What’s your favorite meal and who would be attending?

Roast (made in the crockpot, not the oven), cheesy hash brown potato casserole with corn flakes on top, green bean casserole, pear salad and crescent roles.  My family of course!

Tell us a little known fact about yourself:

I was run over by a truck when I was 5, by my 3 year old brother.
